Thanks to our generous donors, we offer discounts to qualified applicants on registration and reimbursement for their travel costs.

Scholarship Overview

Eligibility: Open to serious students of Ayn Rand’s ideas who are in university, college, high school, or self-studying Objectivism. Applicants must be under 35 years of age.
Award Basis: Scholarships are awarded based on merit and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Application Details

Deadline: The application deadline is April 18, 2025.
No Pre-Registration Required: You do not need to register for the conference before applying for this scholarship.
Note: This is not a general academic scholarship. Please do not apply if you are seeking academic funding.

What the Scholarship Covers

A discounted rate of admission, at $150 USD. You will be given a code to use at registration.
Travel Costs: Reimbursement for conference travel costs, up to $313 USD. This includes airfare, train fare, parking at the event hotel, or mileage/ride shares to the hotel only. Note that seat upgrades, insurance, parking at the airport, mileage and/or ride shares around Boston, and other add-ons are not covered.

Accommodation: The scholarship also covers your accommodation in a shared room.
Rooms will be shared by two scholarship recipients of the same gender, unless you make alternate arrangements. We will book your hotel room directly through the hotel and pay for your portion (½) of the room rate. Incidentals and other charges are not covered.

  • In case you do not wish to share your room with another scholarship participant, the remaining ½ of the total room rate will be your responsibility to pay.
  • In case you wish to share your room with a non-scholarship participant, the remaining ½ of the total room rate will be your responsibility to pay (this would include a friend or partner).
  • If you have requests for a specific roommate or wish to share your room with your partner, please let us know as soon as possible.
